Smoke silhouttes

While Tim Blanks is still in process of writing a review for Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture fall show i felt like writing myself a couple of lines not about stripes, corsets or parfum that so often been the most talked about got to have it things from this extraordinaire. Smoke and bones were back on catwalk! The silhouettes of dresses and jackets were amazing cutting edges and curves and creating new power shoulder shape even skirts had an extra curve extension on sides of hips or bone structure were accented on arms of models. Colors were so poison acid full the pinks blues greens and yellow. The fur and feathers were wrapped around or stitched to most unexpected places just like the pockets that took a shape of old purse and were placed on front of the jacket instead of a bag as we are too busy smoking our cigarettes and men are too busy kissing our hands. The attitude! Fishnets were back but at the same time leggings like trousers very skinny were dominating on skinny pins finished with snake skin boots. The head wear was beyond! Parfait! The last finish the make up femme fatale red lips and those long fake eyelashes on pale skin looked so dramatic and flawless. Bless who ever did manicure of all these models in a sucha rush! If Marlene Dietrich was alive! She would be in love with the maestro!

Tisci tease

Insight to Paris fashion week. Givenchy haute couture 2010 fall. Never ever felt wearing something like this so much! Riccardo Tisci used all my favourite spice and everything nice in this collection feathers, embroidery, sequins, fringing, lace, zips, fur and see through light almost not there fabrics. It's so interesting that some dresses have almost armour on top as a corset followed by tie dye feathers or just long thin strings of light threads to the floor. Statement must have pieces.

One shot

Sam Hessamian found his passion for photography in film school. That's why besides photography he also creates short movies. Not famous yet he already creates legends and stories fighting between reality and dreams capturing the magic on camera. Black and white in film noir style full of smoke and drama and locked up women in this frame remind Helmut Newton but Sam's photos manage to undress their emotions and soul without stripping them down to nothing in opposite his focus is completely on faces of beauties catching every movement and feeling on the end of their eyelashes and full lips. In that moment nothing exists one shot it's captured translated and these images start life on their own our minds imagining stories behind them finding forgotten emotions within ourselfs experiencing new ones coming. Art of photography is to make us see and feel through our eyes. Boom! that's magic!

California Gurlz

It's the third collaboration. the collection is very glam hippy but with the same love for everything rock'n'roll very Erin. in this collection you can see more play with fabrics and texture styling. great work on basics turning tanks to dresses, polo into funky printed shirt, leggins became more dressy with destoyed finish and embroidery. the boots with white socks gave the hole look grunge feel with satin robes and sequin waistcoats. show mood has dessert atmosphere with California dessert scenes in the background and models with burned in the sun hair plus oil and tan covered bodies getting swetty from catwalk strong lights made the look complete. the make up was all about creating that tan with bronzer, blusher and different shades of foundation whatever is more fave for you plus the smoky eye to create that sexy California girl look. besides the clothes, boots, make up Erin's jewellery line also strutted down that catwalk which was hard to spot but those rings and cuffs made the overall look more individual. but still the biggest attention was drawn to Erin her unique style and personality that's why my favourite thread was her funky printed coat. the girl is haute and talented!
